Welcome to Chataya Tonkinese.  As breeders, it is our aim to produce healthy, quality kittens with very sociable temperaments.  To this end, our kittens are handled and played with many times in a day and go off to their new homes very loving, happy, confident kitties.

If you are looking for a quiet, placid cat then a Tonkinese is definitely not for you.  They are intelligent, lively, fun loving cats.  Be prepared to spend quality playtime several times a day with your Tonk.  If you don't, do be assured, it will find its own amusements which may not suit you one little bit!  Remember, it is always wiser to learn about a breed before purchasing to ensure it is the right breed for your lifestyle.
